Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit aml-kyc-pedia.org, why, and what your rights are. The site is a personal, non-commercial knowledge hub. It is published by Sylvain Aubry, who is the data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
1. What data is processed
Server logs. The site is hosted by Wix.com Ltd. Like any web host, Wix records technical data when a page is requested — IP address, date and time, browser type, pages requested — to serve the site, keep it secure and detect abuse. This data is processed under Wix's own responsibility and retention rules; see Wix's privacy policy.
Contact. The contact form on the About page does not store anything on this site: it opens a pre-filled message in your own e-mail application, and you decide whether to send it. When you write to reg.flix@icloud.com, the name, e-mail address and content of your message are used only to answer you and are kept no longer than needed for the exchange, then deleted.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking. This site runs no analytics tool, no advertising network and no social-media tracker.
Community access requests. The form records your name, email, organisation and role if supplied, and profile in Wix Forms. This information is restricted to the site administration and used to review and answer your request. You can request deletion at reg.flix@icloud.com. The form uses a temporary technical session to submit the request; visitors cannot access other submissions.
2. Cookies and local storage
This site sets no tracking cookies. It stores one value in your browser's local storage (akp-notice-v1) to remember that you closed the information notice. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which receive your IP address for that purpose. Google's processing is described in Google's privacy policy.
Links to YouTube (REG-LEAKS) open that service in a new tab. From that moment its own privacy policy and cookies apply; video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube’s image servers, but videos are not embedded or played automatically.
3. Legal basis and recipients
Hosting and security logs are processed in the legitimate interest of operating a website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Replies to your messages are processed because you asked for them (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Your data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own purposes. The only recipient is the hosting provider, Wix.com Ltd., whose servers may be located outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
4. Your rights
You may ask for access to the personal data concerning you, have it corrected or erased, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for its portability (Arts. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to reg.flix@icloud.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in France the CNIL.
5. Changes
This policy may be updated when the site changes. The date at the top of the page indicates the current version.
